The System

3 Steps to Your Peak Performance

01

Digital Baseline Analysis

No guesswork. We start with a thorough analysis of your current baseline. Your existing strength values and endurance data (like FTP and pace zones) form the foundation we build your system on.
No worries: if you don't have current strength values or don't know your FTP / zones, we'll test them and establish the baseline we build on.

02

Smart Training Management

Your training is radically optimized for efficiency and closely monitored:

  • ✓ Endurance via intervals.icu: Heart rate, power zones and fatigue (fitness vs. fatigue) in real time – overtraining nipped in the bud.
  • ✓ Strength via digital training log: Every set, every rep and your percentage progression (RPE / % of 1RM) are visible live at any time.
03

Regular Data Feedback

By connecting your data, I continuously analyze your progress. Depending on your chosen package, we dynamically optimize your plan during live check-ins and tailor it to your daily life, job and recovery. More on training periodization →

My Philosophy

Strong in the gym.
Unstoppable outside.

The fitness world still thinks in surprisingly black-and-white terms: on one side the bulky strength athlete who's out of breath after three flights of stairs. On the other, the wiry mile-eater who can't lift the empty barbell.

I refused to accept that compromise. As a coach, I combine heavy strength training with structured endurance sport (all the way to triathlons and marathons). My approach isn't based on gut feeling, but on data-driven training management and sound sports science.

This isn't about turning everyone into a full-time hybrid athlete. As a strength athlete, you already benefit from a targeted endurance component – for better recovery, heart health and fitness away from the barbell. As a runner, cyclist or triathlete, structured strength training makes you faster and, above all, more resistant to injury. And if you want both at the highest level, I coach you as a hybrid athlete too.

Whether you're a beginner wanting to build your first solid endurance base without sacrificing muscle, or an athlete looking to break through the next performance plateau: we train smart, polarized and with a system – in exactly the balance that fits your goal.

About Me

From the Barbell
to the Street:
My Journey as a Hybrid Athlete.

The Common Thread: Sport as Competition

For as long as I can remember, sport has meant more to me than just movement. It means challenge, structure and measuring myself against the best. It all started at age 8 on the tennis court. For ten years I fought for every point on the team and learned what athletic discipline means.

But at 18, I was drawn into a different world: the weight room.

The Strength Evolution: Bodybuilding & Weightlifting

My journey in the gym began with classic bodybuilding. I wanted to know how far I could push my body. The result? Competing at the German GNBF Championship in 2013.

Bodybuilding

But pure aesthetics eventually wasn't enough for me anymore. I wanted performance. Through CrossFit, I found my true passion in olympic weightlifting. Here it was no longer just about looks, but about milliseconds, brutal explosive power and absolute precision under heavy loads.

Licensed Coach – Not Just an Athlete.

What sets me apart from the next Instagram coach: I bring not only my own competitive experience, but also structured pedagogical craft. As a licensed C-level weightlifting coach and with over 5 years of coaching experience in club sports I know how to teach technique properly – to beginners and advanced athletes alike.

The Switch: Why Not Strong and Fast?

Despite the heavy lifts, the endurance side never let go of me. Whether on mountain bike Alps crossings or hard runs on asphalt – I always wanted to know if you could combine maximum strength with brutal endurance.

Today my answer is: Yes, it works. With a current half marathon best time of 1:39 h, an olympic distance triathlon best time of 2:28 h and an Ironman 70.3 best time of 5:17 h at around 90 kg body weight, I prove every day anew that the system works. You don't have to choose. You can be strong and unstoppably enduring.

How this works without getting injured, I explain in detail in my article on Strength Training for Runners & Triathletes.

The Reality: Between Family, Work and High Performance

Why am I telling you all this? Not to shine with titles. But to show you that I know the highs and lows of training from my own experience.

I'm not a coach who lives 24/7 in the gym and whose only worry is the next meal. As a working father I know exactly the balancing act between work, two kids and ambitious athletic goals. Time is the most valuable resource we have. That's why my coaching isn't based on outdated "no pain, no gain" clichés, but on highly efficient, data-driven training management.

I design your plan so it fits into your real life – so you get the absolute maximum out of your time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I start as a complete beginner – with no gym experience or endurance base? +
Yes, absolutely. Most of my athletes start exactly there: office job, little time, no plan – but a real will to change. The training plan is created individually for you. We start right where you currently are.
Will I lose muscle mass from endurance training? +
This is the biggest fear for almost all strength athletes – and it's unfounded as long as you approach it systematically. Muscle loss only happens with aimless overtraining and an extreme calorie deficit. Let's be honest: if you focus 100% on strength training only, you'll build muscle faster short-term. Just like you'll get faster on the running track if you cut out the gym entirely. But who really wants that one-sidedness? When we perfectly align heavy strength stimulus, targeted aerobic sessions and the right protein intake, you don't just protect your muscles – you actually benefit from it. Endurance training improves your recovery and circulation, allowing you to train harder in the gym, and strength training makes you significantly less injury-prone while running. At the end of the day, you'll be much healthier, fitter, and – let's be honest – you'll look a lot better naked than if you only lived in one of the two worlds.
How much time per week do I need to plan for? +
We don't impose a rigid plan on your life – we adapt the training to your daily routine. How many hours you invest depends entirely on your goals and starting point. A realistic minimum to make noticeable progress in the hybrid area is about 3 to 4 hours per week. Quality beats quantity – we structure every minute so your training delivers maximum results without your job or family falling short.
Do I need a gym membership or special equipment? +
For the strength part, I recommend access to a barbell and free weights – a normal gym is completely sufficient. Otherwise you need running shoes, optionally a bike. No expensive equipment, no machine dependency.
What sets you apart from other personal trainers? +
Most coaches only know one world: they either come from strength sports or are purely endurance coaches. I live the hybrid approach myself and combine heavy lifts with long races in practice. At the same time, I know the biggest hurdle: lack of time. Since I balance family and work myself, my coaching is radically optimized for efficiency. Instead of rigid plans, we rely on scientifically grounded, data-based management of your sessions. We track your load and recovery precisely to avoid overtraining and make perfect use of every free minute. You get a system that's proven to work and integrates seamlessly into your busy daily life.
When can I start and how long am I committed? +
Your training can start at any time by individual arrangement – there's no fixed start date you have to wait for. There's also no fixed contract term: you can end the coaching at any time. This way you take no risk and can calmly test whether the system fits you.
Aren't you still relatively new or unknown as a coach? +
As an online brand, I am indeed still young – but not as a trainer. I've been coaching athletes live and in-person in Munich for several years already, especially in weightlifting. That's no coincidence: olympic weightlifting is a highly technical sport, and the small details in movement execution are best corrected live, where I can see every rep and step in immediately. That in-person coaching experience is the foundation my entire system is built on. As my focus shifted increasingly toward hybrid athletes – who need structured endurance training alongside the strength work – I deliberately expanded into online coaching, so I could support athletes with the same data-driven precision regardless of location. So you're not getting a freshly invented concept, but training methodology proven live over years, which I now scale digitally. Feel free to check the testimonials from current athletes, or bring up any open questions directly during the free consultation call – there's no risk since there's no fixed contract term.
